Really enjoyed the boat ride and tour - the operators are friendly and really informative. Went on the 45min seal island tour which was excellent. You can never predict weather, wind or the ocean swell - was initially worried as waves 3.5 - 4m, with moderate South West winds on this day, however loved the adrenalin as the boat cut through the waves on the way to seal island.Good thing - they lend you a hooded wet weather jacket to put over your clothes as out on the water its a lot cooler and theres a chance of ocean spray. Being a high powered boat it was great fun! At the very end of tour, love how they turn up the power and do a figure 8 before returning to dock. Will check out the longer tour next time.
One of the best days out of my life. Got to see seals and dolphins in the wild. Crew very friendly and happy. Sit at the front of the boat for a bumpy and fast ride.
Just awesome! Highly Recommended! Those who loves adventures choose your seat at the front row!!! Boat operators were very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw dolphins and seals while we took the 45 minutes tour.There are longer versions available as well which covers whale watching...but please note whale watching is not available through out the year, so, choose your tour accordingly! Must go!!
I have been on this tour a number of times and highly recommend it. It is a bit of an adventure being on the high seas. The crew are professional and the boat very capable. The dolphins, seals and whales are incredible to watch, depending on when you go.
This is a must do activity in Adelaide.. very very enjoyable ride to the islands and watching dolphins and seals and sea lions.. recommended.
