The glass of house Red was great and the Rump Steak was cooked well. The Salad bar was very ordinary indeed.Beautiful location and the outside area is a great place to share a drink with friends when the weather is mild.
Had a meal here on Thursday night, I chose the scotch fillet which was over cooked, tough and did not resemble a scotch fillet for $30! Chips were brown and onion rings were greasy full of oil and salad bar poor. Sorry.
Went there for a mid week lunch. Nice meals. Salad bar could have a better selection.
Limited variety. Not the best salad bar, although the dolmades make for something different. I don't recommend the lamb's fry. Perhaps they were trying to be fancy in the way they prepare it, but it doesn't work, in my opinion.
Three of us had lunch there today. Of the 3 venues offering Entertainment Book discount, we chose the Crown based on excellent service and meals we had over the years - all at least 4 years ago. What a disappointment!! The service was generally poor - staff generally unfriendly and uninterested, and you needed to queue up behind the customers ordering their meals to order a drink - one staff member serving all for most of the time we were there. two other customers gave up ordering a drink after 5 minutes and left!Just when I didn't think it could get any worse, I got my main course of Scallops - 3 scallops for $24.90!!! Luckily my 2 companions shared some of their meals with me.I have scored today 1 star based on the other 2 meals being reasonable.Today was definitely our last visit to this establishment and will not be recommending it to anyone else.Obviously management don't read these comments because today reflected the sentiments of many reviewers over the last 2 years and nothing has changed!!!!!
