Wonderful food and selection of SA beers and wine. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food came out fast and was extremely well cooked. We had oysters, steak and fish and chips and the only fault would be a bit too much sauce on the steak. It was a perfect cut and cook though. Well done and thank you
Have been here before when it was under different management and LOVED it. Food was delicious and service prompt but today we left without ordering. We were there for ten minutes staff made three mistakes with three different customers. Didn't receive a highchair when requested and little one was getting antsy. During this ten minute time we witnessed issues with other tables-coffee was served to the wrong tables twice and a breakfast order was sent back as it was incorrect. Staff super grumpy despite being very quiet!!
Was excited to dine here with family yet was let down due to the incredibly late service,. Waiting 1 hour 20 mins for our simple meals, watching fellow guests walk out, and ask for refunds it didnt look promising from the beginning. We never got an apology for the wait with some of our meals coming out with incorrect items. Understandably there was only one chef on yet why you would put someone through such a stressful evening on their own is very confusing especially on New Years Day. Has so much potential hopefully things improve over the years
Have ALWAYS LOVED the Anchorage. You can't beat a good design. There are function rooms, lounge areas, a bar made to look like a ship, outdoor seating in 2 separate areas and all round good food and amazing coffee! A mainstay of Victor Harbor that hopefully continues on for many decades. :D
I visit Victor Harbour several times every year. This place is one that I always return to. The service is prompt and friendly, the coffee is really good, in a beautifully finished boat shed.The menu includes some of the best foccosia sandwiches on the peninsula.Fully licensed, a great night out for a cozy meal.
