Really good fish and chips and well priced. Nice crispy chips and they put a good amount of salt/chicken salt. Had the butterfish and it was delicious. Nice and close to granite island too!
Placed a phone order and was told over the phone it would be a 25 minute wait. Arrived 5 minutes before the 25 minutes was up and paid for the meal. Was told that it would be a bit longer. Waited a further 45 minutes. Approached the staff and was told they couldn't find the ticket initially and then after that they discovered our order under the warming lamp. I asked why our order had been sitting there for so long, and was told that they didn't write the number on the ticket. Definitely need to improve their systems. There was another customer that experienced the same thing before us. To top it all off the food was very average and discovering two hairs in my lamb yiros topped off the whole experience.
Yep good feed, decent size fish fillets,tasty chips, lovely staff,dining inside or outside, customer toilet,wood heater in winter,lots of choices on menu, gluten-free available, consistent standard
Got the 10$ meal deal and it was good overall! Fast kind service, good fish, crunchy fries, huge portion and the best home made tartare Ive had in Australia!
Lovely customer service. But the food definitely could be better. They are willing to add to your wants if they don't have it on the menu e.g. cheese on the chips and gravy.
